Lavinia O'Brien was born in South Wales, and, after many years living in North London returned to her roots and now lives in Abergavenny. She has BA Hons in English and History.A retired Civil Servant, she has always had a passion for art and on returning to Wales started art classes at the Man of Ross gallery and joined the Abergavenny Art Group. Lavinia paints a wide range of subjects in both oils and water colour. However, she particularly enjoys painting dogs and horses.
Lavinia has exhibited at the Abergavenny Art Group's annual exhibition on numerous occasions..
She is a committee member of Abergavenny Art Group.
