willowAbergavenny Artists is a web-site designed to promote the art work of local artists both professional and amateur and to provide a "hub" from which links can be made to artists in Abergavenny and its surrounding areas.

There are numerous professional artists living and working in and around Abergavenny and they welcome your interest in their work and invite you to browse this site.  Furthermore they welcome you to visit their workshops, studios and galleries to see their work first hand.  Locations and contact details are given.

Courses in Art

community educationMonmouthshire County Council's Community Education Section are running numerous art related courses this year.  For example: watercolour for beginners, Drawing and painting for beginners, Waterbased painting, Art portraits, Mixed media, Life drawing for beginners and improvers.  These courses are located in Abergavenny and Usk, starting in September.  Click on the image for further details.


FSC advertThe Field Studies Council (FSC) have recently launched their new programme of Arts courses.  FSC is an environmental education charity with 70 years’ experience of providing courses which inspire people of all ages.  Their courses may be of interest to you as they cover many topics including sketching, watercolours, oils and botanical illustration as well as craft and photography courses.  The short residential and one-day courses on offer are available at all levels of expertise and benefit from expert tuition throughout.  Click on this advert for details.
